Welcome to Ardshane Country House

Ardshane was built at the turn of the 19th Century on the 800 year old camp site of King John’s army, as it marched its way through Ireland.

The name “Ardshane” when translated from Irish means “Hill of John”.
As it nestles amidst mature gardens and glens, Ardshane exudes a charm
and ethos of gracious living from bygone days, and is the ideal location for
relaxing from the stresses and strains of daily life. Here our guests have
rediscovered the meaning of peace and tranquillity.

The main reception area of the house has been carefully restored and
maintained to reflect the living style of those generations who grew up
in Ardshane since it was built in 1902.

The guest rooms are spacious and well appointed with en-suite facilities,
television, hair dryer, trouser press, radio alarm clocks and hospitality tray.

A varied and filling cooked breakfast will be served in our spacious dining room.

Warm and inviting, serene and relaxed is the order of the day....

Where possible, we aim to provide our guests with whatever they require, in order to make their stay with us as enjoyable and successful as they require.
